Socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu has criticised the Department of State Services (DSS) for arresting Omoyele Sowore, the former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC).
Earlier, DAILY POST reported that Sowore, one of the organisers of the EndBadGovernance protests, was apprehended by the DSS in Lagos on Sunday.
Sowore was arrested upon his return to Nigeria from the United States. However, he later confirmed his release in a post on X.
Reacting to the arrest, Aisha in a post on her official X handle, said the secret police are shameless and unintelligent.
She wrote, “DSS/SSS is not only shameless but unintelligent. They fell for the bait! Kai!
“No wonder terrorists are using them to chew gum.”
