The Nigerian Bar Association Gombe Branch has consoled with the Nigeria Police Force, Gombe command in particular over the demise of Supol Yusuf Balami.
The NBA chairman Benjamin Sati, in a press statement to our correspondent in Gombe, urged the Commissioner of Police Hayatu Usman, men and officers to be consoled by the unprecedented achievement of the late officer.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Balami was the erstwhile Personal Assistant to the Gombe State Police Commissioner.
He reportedly passed on Sunday September 29 at Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe.
“The Branch extends its condolence to the Commissioner of Police Gombe State Command, CP Hayatu Usman, PSC over the demise of SUPOL Yusuf Balami, the Personal Assistant to the CP.
“The NBA Gombe Branch see this as a loss to the nation at large. May the deceased find rest in jannatul firdausi,” he added.
In a related development, Sati also wished the people and government of Gombe State happy 28th anniversary of creation and 64th Nigeria’s independence.
He added, “We wish all Gombe residents a happy independence anniversary and happy 28th anniversary to Gombe State.”
