The Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe has announced the launch of the National Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance System, providing free health services to vulnerable individuals and the general public for the first 48 hours of emergency cases.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the initiative, approved by President Alhaji Bola Tinubu, and Minister of Health Dr Ali Pate, aims to make critical care easily accessible during emergencies.

According to Dr Yusuf Abdullahi, Chief Medical Director of FTHG, “NEMSAS marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s healthcare history. We are committed to providing quality healthcare services to those who need it most.”
