Our correspondent reports that the franchise states include Gombe, Bauchi, Benue and Plateau.

According to Dr Friday Adakole Elijah, Head of Corporate Communications, JEDC, “The tripping of the lines occurred this afternoon at about 1221 hours today, Friday, 15th November 2024, resulting in the loss of power supply on all our 33KV feeders.”

He disclosed that the Transmission Company of Nigeria engineers are currently working to rectify the fault. “TCN engineers are already assiduously working to rectify the faults,” Elijah assured.

Elijah apologised for the inconvenience and expressed appreciation for customers’ patience. “We hope to restore normal power supply to our esteemed customers as soon as the fault is rectified and power supply is restored back to normalcy. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to serve you better.”
