Port Harcourt is set to host the prestigious AkuruoUlo International Conference and Awards on December 20, 2024.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA gathered that the event promises to be a grand gathering of Ndigbo and friends of Ndigbo, featuring lectures, speeches, awards, and other attractions.
According to Dr. Emmanuel Emeka, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, “Ndigbo should expect a great event.” He emphasized that the awards will recognize Ndigbo who have invested in Igboland and contributed significantly to its development.
Dr. Emeka urged Ndigbo to support the program massively, saying, “This is an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate our achievements.”
The event is expected to attract prominent personalities from Igboland and the diaspora, making it a significant gathering of who’s who in the region.
