The Chief of Army Staff, COAS has reportedly received the first contingent of French soldiers, deploying them to Maiduguri for counter-insurgency operations.
This development was made known in a post shared on X by a medical practitioner, and activist, Mahdi Shehu.
He stated that the Chief of Defense staff has earlier denied any plan to establish France military bases in Nigeria yet received the first contingent of French soldiers and immediately deployed them to maiduguri to ” Help Nigeria in Fighting Bokoharam’.
According to him, Nigeria is a new France colony in Africa. Northern Nigeria is its new colony. France lost five former colonies in one swoop but were handed over one country bigger than all the five, by a desperate Tinubu.
He lamented that Tinubu is playing god and silencing the entire military institutions who are trained to safeguard Nigeria’s territorial integrity, but who chose to swallow the cowardice pills.
