Kefas, who described the occurrence as a terrible tragedy, prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed.

He also eulogised the life and times of Governor Namadi’s late mother, describing her as an exceptional mother in the land.

The statement reads, “Governor Namadi may find solace in knowing that Mama lived long to witness the fruits of her great work in his life. Our mother left behind a legacy of fulfillment and the good character she bequeathed on her children and grandchildren.”

Kefas condoled with the entire people of Jigawa State over the loss of Governor Namadi’s first son, Abdulwahab, adding that the occurrence is a painfully tragic one.

While praying for the family, Kefas said the Almighty God will continue to comfort Governor Namadi, his family, and indeed the entire people of Jigawa State.
