The Gadam Community Development Association has donated a brand new Toyota Hilux Vehicle to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Gombe State Command.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that this donation aims to enhance the operational capacity of the NSCDC in ensuring the safety and security of lives and property in Gadam Town, Kwami Local Government Area.
The vehicle was presented at an elaborate ceremony held at the Gadam Skills Acquisition Centre Hall, Gadam Kwami LGA.

Chairman of GACDA, Alh Haruna G. Mamuda, presented the vehicle to the Chairman of Kwami LGA, Dr Ahmed Wali Doho, who then handed it over to the Area Commander Gombe North, ACC Vue Moses.
This was contained in a press statement signed by SC Buhari Saad, Public Relations Officer of the command on Wednesday.
The statement disclosed that Gombe State Commandant, CC Gyama Gyawiya, who was represented by Deputy Commandant of Corps, DCC Abubakar Muri, expressed his gratitude to GACDA for the donation, stating that it reflects the association’s commitment to safety and trust in the NSCDC.

Gyawiya assured that the vehicle will be used to enhance operational capabilities, “respond to emergencies, and maintain peace and stability in Gadam Community,” the statement added.
The statement further noted that Gyawiya finally, handed over the vehicle to Superintendent of Corps, (SC) Wannah Lawrence the Divisional Officer of Gadam Division.
The occasion was attended by prominent personalities, including the Hon. Commissioner Internal Security, Lt Col Abdullahi Bello Rtd, and the District Head, Alh Muhammed Usman.
