The Secretary to Government of Gombe Gombe State Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, was on Friday in Malam Sidi alongside other government functionaries to attend the wedding fatiha of Ummi.
Ummi is the daughter to one of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s security personnel ASP Musa Bamayi.
The SGS congratulated the newly wedded couples Aliyu Mohammed and Aisha Ummi Adamu, tasking them to build their home on trust, love and patience for their marriage to last.
The wedding fatiha was consummated after the fulfillment of all requirements for Islamic marriage including the payment of one hundred and fifty thousand naira dowry by the chief Imam of Malam-Sidi Central Mosque in the presence of Ajiyan Gombe and Senior District Head of Kwami Alhaji Aminu Haruna Abdullahi.
Father of the Bride ASP Musa Bamayi who is also a traditional title holder of Barden Ajiyan Gombe, expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya for sending a high-powered delegation to share in their moment of joy praying God to bless and reward him and his Government.
The SGS also used the opportunity to inspect the ongoing reconstruction work at the Senior District Head of Malam Sidi courtesy of Governo Yahaya’s administration.
