Gombe State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Gyama Gwawiya, on Wednesday paraded 15 suspects for various crimes, including vandalism, theft, and unnatural offences.

According to Commandant Gwawiya, the suspects were apprehended following investigations into multiple incidents.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that one suspect was caught vandalising the North East Development Commission facility, confessing to stealing copper wires and selling them at Mile 3, Akko L.G.A. of Gombe State.

Another suspect, Isma’il Mohammed, 19, was apprehended for vandalizing aluminum power transmission cables in Kwami L.G.A. He confessed to selling the stolen cables at Yelenguruza area, Gombe L.G.A.
Three suspects – Mohammed Adamu, 21, Usman Mu’azu, 17, and Alhassan Mohammed, 17 – were paraded for criminal conspiracy, trespass, and theft. They allegedly stole a bag of maize from a house in Jekadafari Abacha Road.
Muhammad Abubakar, 20, was accused of escaping from lawful custody, using criminal force, and theft. He allegedly broke out of the state command detention facility in 2023 while being investigated for unnatural offenses and same-sex marriage.
Commandant Gwawiya also paraded suspects for unnatural offenses, including Dantala Babaniya, 30, Abubakar Mohammed, 13, Victor Clement, 11, and Abdurrahman Ukasha, 11.
The Commandant assured that investigations are ongoing, and the suspects will be prosecuted accordingly.
