The Jigawa State Government has organised a two-day retreat in Gombe State for its State Executive Council members, top government officials, and permanent secretaries.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the retreat, themed “Ascending the Peak: Achieving Greater Jigawa through Innovation and Transformative Leadership,” aims to acquaint attendees with the dynamics of the 2025 budget and the achievements of Governor Malam Umar Namadi’s administration.
According to Malam Bala Ibrahim, Secretary to Government of Jigawa State, “We chose Gombe as the location for this retreat because it holds a special place in our hearts – it’s not just a venue, but a homecoming for all of us considering the mutual relationship between our two Governors which is very cordial and true example of brotherhood.”
Periscope Nigeria reports that the retreat is designed to strengthen collaboration, enhance leadership skills, and align with the collective vision of achieving the 12-Point Developmental Agenda of Governor Malam Umar A Namadi’s administration for a “Greater Jigawa.”
Ibrahim added, “Honourable Commissioners, Technical Advisers, Permanent Secretaries, and Heads of MDAs play a crucial role in ensuring that governance translates into meaningful impact for the people in Jigawa State.”
