The award-winning investigative journalist David Hundeyin has criticised the leader of the #RevolutionNow Movement, Omoyele Sowore, over his derogatory comments against Peter Obi and the Igbos.
According to Hundeyin, he stated that Sowore is owned by the same people that own Tinubu.
Hundeyin made this statement in a post shared on his official X handle.
Following the revelation of Ibrahim Babangida about the 1966 coup not being an Igbo coup, Igbos has been receiving series of derogatory comments.
However, the derogatory comments has been further extended to the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Obi.
One of the attackers, the leader of RevolutionNow Omoyele Sowore wrote,”You don’t need to worry about@PeterObi; he is what he is, #Gbajue! He was a packaged fraud; those who packaged him knew what they did, and they’ve all mostly jumped ship- hustlers, opportunists, bigots, dissemblers, gamblers, gerrymanders, and carpet baggers. Those still left couldn’t believe they had fallen into this trap and couldn’t detour; they had fallen into a ditch and, instead of getting out, had ordered more diggers. You can’t help them.”
Reacting to his comments, Hundeyin in his post wrote,”Social change advocates” funded by MacArthur Foundation and Ford Foundation. You’re owned by the same people that own Tinubu. We know who you are. Nobody cares.”
Hundeyin further attached a picture analysis to back up his claims.
Netizens has however, expressed their opinions and thoughts concerning his comments.
Ejiro Oyaide tweeted,”Obidient worldwide should be vigilant, as there is a very strong tribal campaign against the Igbo people on all social media, with Peter Obi being the primary target.
“That grown idiot is an APC stooge used to distract the masses. We all know better now,” Chrisblend wrote.
Another X user, Ochichi wrote,”Sawore will spit fire on the microphone during day time then go and dobale for bulaba in the night. Because I don’t know how Peter Obi is his problem. He can actually make his points and campaign without discussing Peter Obi who by the way is the only credible candidate for the presidency to come 2027.”
“Sowere is working for Tinubu. He celebrated the incoming of APC against GEJ government. Sowere is fraud!,” another X user, IgboAmaka tweeted.
