We enjoin teachers to point out things that they see because they (students) spend considerable time with the students. If they can’t talk to people at home they should be able to talk to you. Do not stigmatise any students using drugs,” she added.
On the essence of NAFDAC safety clubs Adeyeye added, “The club is targeted at the youth to support war against fake drugs and products. If you see someone that is producing things within your communities, neighbourhood we expect you to report to your teachers. If you see people making substandard water, cream if you are a member of NAFDAC safety consumer we expect you to be agent of change; use your knowledge to assist in information flow on our regulatory activities. Is not that you should go and fight them but you can give valid information that will help change this narrative.”
