PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the tournament, organised by the Gombe State Ministry of Internal Security in collaboration with the Nigeria Football Association, aims to promote unity and collaboration among security agencies in the state.
“The coming together of the security agencies in the spirit of sportsmanship will enhance collaboration and sharing of information among the men and officers of the various security organisations for improved security of the state,” said Dr. Jatau during the opening ceremony.
The deputy governor also emphasised the importance of sports in promoting unity and solidarity among security agencies.
