A prominent politician and former member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Godwin Eshieshi, has sent messages of congratulations to President Tinubu and Engr Abubakar Momoh on the successful signing into law on Tuesday, the South-South Development Commission Bill.

In a message signed by the former Etsako-East Council boss himself, Hon Eshieshi said that this action of the President “is a demonstration of the Federal Government’s commitment to providing a level playing field for regional development across the nation.”
The Edo North APC Chieftain equally thanked the Minister for Regional Development, Engr Abubakar Momoh and the indefatigable leadership of the National Assembly members from the South-South zone under the leadership of the distinguished Senator Adams Oshiomhole, for a job-well done.
Hon Eshieshi, who was elated by this development, said that the signing into law of the Bill has brought development closer to the people.
He, however, called for the support of the people of the South-South Region to ensure a smooth take-off of the much-awaited Commission.
