The National Youths Council of Nigeria, Gombe State Chapter, has commended President Bola Tinubu, for reappointing Dr Yusuf Abdullahi as the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe.
The council said the reappointment is a testament to Dr Yusuf’s exceptional leadership and dedication to the healthcare sector.
In a statement signed by the organisation’s Organising Secretary, Mu’azu Hina, the National Youths Council of Nigeria, Gombe State Chapter, described Yusuf’s reappointment as the best decision from Gombe State so far, adding that the reappointment is a clear indication of the confidence that the youths of Gombe State have in Yusuf’s ability to lead the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, to greater heights.
Hina’s statement partly read, “The reappointment of Dr. Yusuf is a well-deserved recognition of his tireless efforts to improve healthcare delivery in Gombe State. His leadership has been instrumental in transforming the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, into a center of excellence in healthcare services.”
He noted that Yusuf has demonstrated exceptional expertise and commitment to his duties, stressing that the reappointment is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the healthcare sector.
“The National Youths Council of Nigeria, Gombe State Chapter, has promised to support Dr. Yusuf in his new tenure as Chief Medical Director. The organisation is committed to working closely with Dr. Yusuf to ensure the success of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe.
“The reappointment of Dr. Yusuf is a positive development for the healthcare sector in Gombe State. It is a clear indication of the government’s commitment to improving healthcare services in the state,” Hina said.
The NYCN urged Yusuf to continue his good work and to strive for excellence in his new tenure noting that the organisation is confident that the CMD will continue to make significant contributions to the healthcare sector in Gombe State.
