U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern ultimatum to Hamas, demanding the immediate release of all hostages and the return of deceased victims.
In a fiery statement on X, Trump warned that failure to comply would result in devastating consequences for the militant group.
“Shalom Hamas means Hello and Goodbye – You can choose,” he declared, emphasizing that no Hamas member would be safe if his demands were not met.
Trump’s warning comes after meeting with former hostages who were held captive by Hamas during the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict.
Expressing outrage at the treatment of the hostages, he labeled the group “sick and twisted” for keeping bodies and insisted that Hamas leadership must leave Gaza while they still have a chance.
He reaffirmed his support for Israel, pledging to send “everything it needs to finish the job.”
Addressing the people of Gaza, Trump stated that a “beautiful future” was possible but warned that those who continued to hold hostages would face dire consequences.
“If you do, you are DEAD!” he stated bluntly, urging Gazans to make a “smart decision” by pushing for the hostages’ release.
