The women of Rivers State have taken to the streets demanding the return of Siminalaya Fubara to his position as Governor of the state.
Following the declaration of state of emergency in the state by Tinubu, the state has been left in state of upheaval coupled with the suspension of Fubara by Tinubu.
In a demonstration of dissatisfaction with the state of things in Rivers, in a post and video shared on the twitter handle of an X user, Jahmal of Port Harcourt, the women were seen with placards with writings ‘ Bring Back Fubara ‘ Bring Back Stability ‘ ‘ Rivers Women Now Live in Fear’.
The post reads,”Rivers Women March concerning the happening in her State. Their placards carries worrying problems of what the state is going through. Rivers state need her Democratic systems back. #bringbackFubara
