Reverend Ishaku Galadima of the Evangelical Church Winning All number one Bolari, Gombe State, has emphasised the essence of rest.
Galadima made disclosure on Sunday during a Thanksgiving service organised in honour of SP Grace Mamuda (Retd.) after her service to the Nigeria Police Force.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Mamuda retired as revered Gender Desk Officer at the Gombe State Police command where she uncovered gender-based violences and helped in institutionalising legal frameworks towards quelling violences against girls and women.

Speaking on the importance of rest Galadima who took his reading from Genesis 2 verse 1-2 called it the most important attribute of humanity.
He noted that retiring from labour and death are two types of rest, laying emphasis on Exodus 33 verse 14.
“One with the devil doesn’t have rest. Unlike one who works for God that rests on earth and in heaven,” he added.
On her part, Mamuda lauded the church for the far-reaching support, recalling the challenges she surmounted, “As I reflect on my journey, I am reminded of the numerous challenges I faced. There were times when I felt like giving up, but wise counsel encouraged me to persevere,” She added emphasising that independence is better than dependence.
“Looking back, I realise that holding God at the center of everything has been my greatest asset. To those who are retired or nearing retirement, I offer this advice: prioritise your relationship with God.
“Let Him guide and direct you in every aspect of your life. By doing so, you’ll find peace, purpose, and fulfillment in this new chapter,” Mamuda added.
Our Correspondent reports that after the service well-wishers, friends and family moved to Hauwa Memorial Hall, Tumfure for refreshment and celebration of Mamuda.
