Commandant Jibrin Idris, newly posted, State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Gombe State Command, has paid a familiarisation visit to Professor Ibrahim Ibrahim Njodi, Secretary to Government of Gombe State.
This was contained in a press statement signed on Tuesday by SC Buhari Saad, CD-PRO Gombe State Command.
Idris was received at the SGS complex, Government House Gombe.
“Commandant Idris briefed the SSG on his assumption of command, following the retirement of his predecessor,” the statement partly read.
The SSG extended a warm welcome to Commandant Idris on behalf of the Gombe State Government and people.
Professor Njodi pledged the government’s support to enhance Gombe State’s security architecture.
