The Gombe Network of Civil Societies has hailed Alhaji Yahaya Barambu, Chairman of Jindadu Ventures Limited, for his outstanding philanthropic gesture in clearing tuition fees totaling N28.3 million for 364 underprivileged students in Gombe State.

In a statement issued on Thursday, GONET described the intervention as a “bold investment in the future of Gombe and the North East,” applauding Barambu for his commitment to education, youth empowerment, and social development.

“This profound act of generosity offers not just financial relief to hundreds of families, but also stands as a symbol of hope and compassion during these challenging economic times,” the statement read.

GONET noted that the initiative, underscores the role of private citizens in advancing human capital development, particularly in underserved communities.

“Alhaji Barambu’s action exemplifies true leadership—defined not by position, but by impact. He is a role model whose kindness will resonate far beyond the classrooms he has touched,” said Ibrahim Yusuf, Chairman of GONET.

The coalition, which comprises various civil society organisations advocating for equity and inclusive development, called on other well-meaning individuals, corporate bodies, and institutions to emulate Barambu’s example.
“We are proud to associate with leaders like Yahaya Barambu and reaffirm our dedication to building a more inclusive, educated, and empowered Gombe State,” Yusuf added.
GONET concluded by expressing deep gratitude to Barambu, stating, “You have inspired a generation.”
