The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations has inaugurated a dedicated task team to oversee the construction of an ultramodern NIPR House in Abuja. The team, chaired by the Institute’s Vice President, Professor Emmanuel Dandaura, has been mandated to ensure the project is completed, fully equipped, and operational by December 2025.

According to a statement released by the NIPR, the proposed NIPR House will serve as the National Secretariat of the Institute, representing a major milestone in its institutional development. The project underscores NIPR’s commitment to strengthening its operational capacity and enhancing the visibility and relevance of the public relations profession in Nigeria.
In addition to serving as the administrative hub, the complex will also house NIPR Television—a media platform aimed at promoting ethical communication practices—and the Abuja liaison office for the proposed University of Public Relations and Leadership.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the inauguration of the task team marks a significant step toward the realisation of a long-standing vision to centralise and modernize the Institute’s operations. The project is expected to serve as a catalyst for professional excellence, training, and research in public relations and leadership across the country.
