The senior pastor of House on the Rock and convener of The Experience Worship, Paul Adefarasin, has said the pistol-like object he held when he frowned at a car spotter filming his exotic car was not a firearm.
Following criticisms that trailed the video of the incident, Adefarasin, in a post on X on Saturday, also stated that he never pointed the object at the car spotter filming his Range Rover.

“You might be aware of a video which has been circulating on social media showing me in what some have misunderstood as brandishing a firearm,” said Adefarasin.
“I want to assure you of this — that that was certainly not a firearm, and at no point did I point such at anyone.”
Without mentioning what he held in the viral video, the cleric said he would speak on the viral video during Sunday service.
“We understand the concern that this accusation may have caused, and we will speak briefly to this mischief during the 9:00 a.m. service tomorrow. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” Mr Adefarasin said.
Our correspondent had earlier reported on Saturday on how Adefarasin pulled what appears to be a pistol at a car spotter filming his exotic car.
In a viral video, the car spotter was shocked to discover that Pastor Adefarasin was the one in a Range Rover.
Adefarasin rolled down his vehicle’s tinted glass and was seen holding what looked like a pistol with his right hand and muttered some inaudible words that got the car spotter apologising profusely for filming his car.
