Youth O’clock Nigeria, Gombe State Chapter, on Thursday expressed its profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for signing into law the establishment of the Federal College of Education (Special) in Dukku and the Federal Orthopedic Hospital in Billiri, Gombe State.

In a statement signed by its Gombe State Coordinator, Abdulazeez Sani-Labaran, the group commended the President for his commitment to inclusive and responsive governance, prioritizing education, healthcare, and national development.

Youth O’clock Nigeria also acknowledged the efforts of Hon. Ali Isa J.C. and Hon. Abdullahi El‑Rasheed, for sponsoring the critical bills and applauded the National Assembly for their diligent and timely consideration.

According to the group, these institutions will transform lives, foster empowerment, and further Gombe State’s overall growth.

The statement equally commended the Gombe State Government, under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for its collaboration and steadfast support in making these landmark projects a reality.

The group pledged its full backing to ensure the seamless and successful takeoff of both institutions, which will benefit the people of Gombe State and the wider North‑East region.

“The establishment of the Federal College of Education (Special) in Dukku will expand access to specialized education, while the Federal Orthopedic Hospital in Billiri will significantly enhance healthcare delivery, especially for those in need of orthopedic care,” the statement added.

Youth O’clock Nigeria emphasized that these institutions would have a profound and lasting impact on the state’s socioeconomic development, enriching the quality of life for its people.
