According to him, he developed interest in free blood donation since it’s addresses the urgent need for safe blood in hospitals.
He disclosed that each pint donated has the potential to save three lives, and was able to mobilized 20 donors and many volunteers across commurnities in the states.
“Since blood donation sought to address the urgent need for safe blood in hospitals, and each pint donated has the potential to save three lives, instead of throwing a party for my birthday, I have decided to be part of the live saving efforts for humanity.
“This idea is to also create more awareness for people to be willing to donate to save more lives. I have seen blood donation as free will decision targeted at saving lives. These initiative demands the participation of every healthy person especially the youth,” he expressed.
Yabkwa commended donors and volunteers across Nigeria who came out to support the lives saving idea, and urged others to key in to.
