The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared the All Progressives Congress APC candidate in the Karim-Lamido (l) state constituency By-election in Taraba, Hon Abena Shitu, winner of the election.
The APC candidate garnered 5,901 votes to defeat his closet rival, Hon. Ali Kanda of the Peoples Democratic party PDP, who scored 5,527 votes.
In the result announced on Saturday, Hon. Bandina Garba of the African Democratic Congress ADC, scored 2,069 votes.
