Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, represented by the Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi Saturday joins hundreds of well wishers at the wedding fatiha of Lt. Abdullaziz Sa’ad Abubakar, and Hadiza Abubakar Umar.
The conjugal ceremony which took place at the Palace of the Emir of Gombe Dr Abubakar Shehe Abubakar III was performed by Imam khadi Baba after the couples had fulfilled all the needed requirements for Islamic marriage which includes the payments of N300,000 as Dowry.
Governor Yahaya Congratulated the newly wedded couple and their parents, praying Allah to bless their union.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Lt. Abdullaziz is a son to the “Majidadin” Gombe, Engr Sa’ad Abubakar and Hadiza is Daughter to another Gombe traditional title holder, the Marafan Gombe.
Among the high profile dignitaries that witnessed the joyful moment are; Commissioners for Local Government Mohammed Abdulkadir Waziri, the Commissioner for Finance, Mohammed Gambo Magaji, Commissioner for Higher Education Mohammed Shetima and his counterpart of Special Duties, Shehu Yerima Abdullahi.
Others are Special Adviser to the Governor Abubakar Barambu, Executive Secretary SEMA Abdullahi Haruna Abdullahi, SSA on Security Yusuf Danbayo, Engr Shehu Hadi Ahmed (Iyan Pindiga), former VC Gombe State University Prof Aliyu El-nafaty and Hon Abubakar Walama among others.
