Renowned gospel singer and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey, will mark his 44th birthday this Friday with a special worship session at the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos.
Bassey, best known for his popular “Hallelujah Challenge,” said he chose to celebrate with inmates as a way of sharing hope, faith, and encouragement through music and prayer.
The worship session is expected to feature songs of praise and intercession, bringing together inmates and prison officials in an atmosphere of thanksgiving.
According to him, the initiative reflects his belief in the power of worship to inspire transformation and remind people of God’s love regardless of their circumstances.
Bassey, who has inspired millions globally with his online midnight worship movement, said the outreach is part of his personal commitment to using music for both spiritual and social impact.
