The Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, Ali Isa, has announced the sponsorship of 30 lawyers from the Nigerian Bar Association, Gombe Branch, to attend the 2025 Annual General Conference of the Association in Enugu.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the beneficiaries, drawn from across the three senatorial districts of the state, will participate at the conference scheduled to hold from August 23 to 28 in the Coal City state.
While expressing gratitude on behalf of the group, the Peoples Democratic Party Legal Adviser in Gombe State, Barrister Benjamin Sati, described the gesture as uncommon.
“We sincerely appreciate the Honourable for this show of support and good representation. God bless him,” Sati stated.
He described the gesture as impactful to the development of the beneficiaries, noting that the 30 lawyers from the branch cut across Gombe South, North, and Central.
“This is a sincere appreciation on behalf of myself and the other beneficiaries,” he added.
