The Deputy National Financial Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dattuwa Ali Kumo, has congratulated Barr. Luka Haruna, on his recent elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), describing the recognition as a testament to years of professional excellence and service.

He was among dignitaries who attended the grand reception held in Haruna’s honour at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, following his swearing-in as one of Nigeria’s newest SANs.

In his goodwill message commended Haruna for what he called an “inspiring achievement,” stressing that the conferment was not only a personal milestone but also “a source of pride for the community and encouragement to young people aspiring to make an impact.”
“The elevation of Barr. Luka Haruna, SAN, is a true testament to his unwavering dedication, professional excellence, and impactful service to the legal community,” he said. “It is an achievement that will inspire many, especially our youth, to pursue excellence with diligence and integrity.”
He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the new SAN “greater wisdom, strength, and continued success in advancing justice and service to the nation.”

M.A. Abubakar, SAN, the Emir of Akko, the Emirs of Pindiga, Gona, Deputy Provost College of Medical Sciences Professor Joshua Difa, as well as other traditional rulers. Also present were National Assembly members such as the Chief Whip and Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abubakar Habu Mu’azu, alongside several government officials and legal luminaries.
The colourful reception was marked by tributes celebrating Haruna’s legal career and contributions to the development of justice in Nigeria.
