The Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH), Gombe, has announced the resumption of services for its Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines, following successful repairs. Full operations are set to commence tomorrow, Monday, September 22, 2025.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Head of the Radiology Department, Dr. Sambo Sanusi Abubakar. He explained that CT scan services are available from Mondays to Fridays each week, while emergency services remain open 24 hours a day, throughout the week.
According to him, MRI scan services will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
“We wish to acknowledge the efforts of the hospital management for giving due priority to this development and many other medical services in the department, as always, for the ease and optimal service delivery to patients,” Dr. Sambo stated.
