Ossai Ovie Success, media aide to the Delta State Governor, has accused the organisers of Big Brother Naija Season 10 of unfairly denying housemate, Dede, the top prize in the just-concluded reality television show.

Periscope Nigeria reports that Dede is first runner upper of the just concluded BBNaija season 10.
In a statement posted on his official social media handle, Ossai alleged that the decision to award Dede second place was influenced by the fact that last year’s winner, Kellyrae, also hails from Delta State.
“Dede was robbed by the organisers of Big Brother Naija. Let us not pretend about what happened — because Delta boy Kellyrae won last year’s edition, they deliberately denied another Delta contestant the chance to emerge winner this year,” he wrote.
The governor’s aide described Dede as the “heart of the season,” noting that her character, intelligence and entertainment value made her stand out.
“She is supposed to be the winner — not because she is from Delta State, but because she earned it. Nigerians who watched the show know this truth. Giving her second place is nothing short of injustice,” Ossai added.
He further disclosed plans to take legal action against the organisers of the reality show, insisting that the voting process was manipulated.
“I will be suing the Big Brother Naija organisers on behalf of Dede, because what happened on that stage was not the true reflection of the votes. The process was rigged and we cannot continue to watch silence swallow the truth,” he said.
Despite his disappointment, Ossai said he would console himself with the exploits of other Deltans, citing Chef Nnagbogu Ifeyinwa of Reetaz Kitchen, who is scheduled to attempt a record-breaking cooking feat at the Bole Feast in Asaba on October 26.
He also announced that plans are underway to host Dede in Asaba, stressing that “win or lose, she remains a true champion in the eyes of millions.”
Big Brother Naija Season 10 ended on Sunday with Imisi emerging as the overall winner, while Dede was named first runner-up.
