The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo, SAN, on Tuesday paid a working visit to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mrs Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, in Abuja.

Keyamo, who was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs Olubunmi Kuku, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria International Airshow, Mrs. Bria Williams, said the visit was part of ongoing consultations ahead of the forthcoming Nigeria International Airshow.
During the meeting, the Aviation Minister and his delegation briefed Mrs. Odumegwu-Ojukwu—his former classmate at the Nigerian Law School—on preparations for the Airshow, which is expected to position Nigeria as a leading hub for aviation and aerospace activities in Africa.
Keyamo highlighted the significance of the event, noting that it would not only showcase Nigeria’s growing aviation potential but also attract global investors and promote bilateral collaborations.
In her response, Mrs. Odumegwu-Ojukwu commended the initiative, assuring the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ support toward ensuring the international success of the Airshow.
The Nigeria International Airshow, scheduled to take place in Abuja, aims to bring together global players in the aviation and aerospace industries, including manufacturers, investors, and policymakers.
