Human rights activist and social commentator, Deji Adeyanju, has advised popular TikTok personality, Peller, to prioritise education as a way of shaping his future and destiny beyond social media fame.
Adeyanju, in a post on his social media handle, commended the young content creator’s creativity and rising popularity but urged him not to neglect formal education, which he described as a key to building lasting value and direction in life.
“Peller should go to school. Education will shape his life and destiny. He can still be doing all the TikTok and making money, but education will add real value to his life,” Adeyanju wrote.
The activist further advised that Peller consider pursuing a university degree, preferably in Law, noting that the discipline would expose him to critical thinking and help him make informed life decisions.
“Let me suggest that he considers a degree in Law, but he must get a credit in Literature in English first,” Adeyanju added.
Adeyanju’s advice has sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that education remains essential despite the opportunities offered by social media, while others argue that talent and digital influence can equally secure a bright future.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the activist’s message underscores the importance of balancing fame with knowledge acquisition, as education continues to play a vital role in personal development and long-term success.
