Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has paid a courtesy visit to the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), at his residence, to congratulate him on the successful completion of his tenure and to commend his outstanding contributions to national security and unity.

During the visit, Governor Sani described General Musa as a “proud son of Kaduna State” who served the nation with courage, professionalism, and an unshakable commitment to duty. He noted that the retired military chief’s career in the Nigerian Armed Forces was marked by discipline, integrity, and exceptional leadership, particularly during challenging times in the nation’s security landscape.
The Governor lauded General Musa’s efforts in safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity and coordinating joint military operations that contributed immensely to the fight against insurgency and other forms of insecurity. He said the people of Kaduna State and Nigerians at large will continue to celebrate his record of selfless service and patriotism.
Governor Sani also expressed his deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for appointing General Musa to such a critical national position, describing the choice as a reflection of the President’s inclusive leadership style and his confidence in merit and competence.
He further prayed for General Musa’s continued success, good health, and fulfilment in his future endeavours, assuring him of the unwavering support and goodwill of the government and people of Kaduna State.
