A student of Kingdom Breed Schools (KBS), Gombe, has distinguished himself at the ongoing MTN mPulse Spelling Bee competition, advancing to the national grand finale scheduled to hold in Lagos.

The competition, which began in July 2025, attracted thousands of students nationwide who participated through a series of online rounds. After rigorous practice tests and an intense first round, two students from Kingdom Breed Schools — David Igbaji and Levi Kelechi-Ebisike — advanced to Round Two.
Round Two featured 500 contestants from each of Nigeria’s six regions, totaling 3,000 participants. Following an impressive performance, Levi Kelechi-Ebisike emerged among the top 20 qualifiers from the North Central, North West, and North East regions to compete at the Abuja Regional Finals.

At the Abuja regional competition, held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, Levi once again demonstrated outstanding spelling prowess, securing one of the top six spots that qualified him for the National Grand Finale in Lagos.
Speaking on the achievement, the school management expressed gratitude to God for the success, describing it as a testament to the students’ dedication, the teachers’ commitment, and divine favour.
KBS also commended the school’s literary coach, Mrs. Folake Falade, for her unwavering support and guidance that contributed to the students’ success.
The management extended congratulations to the entire KBS family, expressing optimism that Levi will make both the school and Gombe State proud at the national finals.
