The Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has been appointed a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fulbe Development and Cultural Organisation (FUDECO), Gombe State Chapter.

The appointment letter was presented to the SGS by the chapter chairman, Alhaji Sambo Sa’ad, in the company of some executive members of the organisation, on Wednesday in his office.
The letter partly reads: “This appointment is in recognition of your outstanding leadership, unwavering commitment to community development, and your continued support for initiatives aimed at uplifting the Fulbe people, especially in rural communities across Gombe State.
As a member of the Board of Trustees, you are expected to play a vital role in providing strategic guidance, promoting the objectives of the organization, and contributing to policies and programmes that foster unity, education, and cultural preservation among the Fulbe.
The organisation is confident that your experience, integrity, and passion for development will further strengthen FUDECO’s vision and mission in Gombe State and beyond.”
In his acceptance remarks, the SSG, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, expressed gratitude to FUDECO for finding him worthy of the appointment and assured the organisation that he would do all within his power to contribute to the development and objectives of FUDECO.
