Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has condoled with the Bala Waja, Alhaji Danjuma Mohammed II, over the death of his elder sister, Hajiya Adda Jammara, who passed away on Friday after a protracted illness.

The governor was represented by the Secretary to the Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who led a state government delegation on the condolence visit.

Conveying the sympathy of the government and people of Gombe State, Governor Yahaya described the death as sad and devastating, urging the royal father and members of the bereaved family to accept the will of Allah with gratitude, noting that death is inevitable for all mankind.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
The government delegation also attended the wedding Fatiha of Dr. Umar Wanda and Raliyah Aliyu, which took place at the Central Mosque, Tallase. On behalf of Governor Inuwa Yahaya, Professor Njodi congratulated the newlywed couple and advised them to build their home on trust, love, fidelity, and the fear of God.
In his remarks, the Bala Waja, Alhaji Danjuma Mohammed II, expressed appreciation to the governor for identifying with the emirate in their moment of grief, praying Allah to bless and reward him abundantly.
He also conveyed profound gratitude, on behalf of the newlywed couple, to the governor’s representative for honouring their conjugal union.
