The Gombe State Students Association (GOSSA) and the Gombe South Youths Movement have congratulated Mr. Dunijir Gatama on his appointment as the Gombe State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, describing the development as well-deserved and timely.

In a congratulatory message signed by its National President, Comr. Muhammad Al-amin Bako, GOSSA said Gatama’s appointment reflects his dedication, leadership qualities, and consistent commitment to youth development and progressive engagement in the state.

“This well-deserved appointment is a reflection of your dedication, leadership qualities, and continuous commitment to youth development and progressive engagement within the state,” the statement read.

The association noted that Gatama’s track record of service and passion for positive change have distinguished him as a worthy ambassador of leadership and responsibility, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver.

“GOSSA is confident that your emergence as State Coordinator will further strengthen youth participation, unity, and purposeful mobilization in Gombe State,” Bako stated, adding that Gatama is expected to discharge his duties with integrity, vision, and excellence.

Similarly, the Gombe South Youths Movement, in a separate statement jointly signed by its National President, Comrade Polycarp Cleopas, and National Secretary, Comr. Ibrahim Memi, congratulated Gatama on his official confirmation as State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement.

The group described the appointment as a testament to the confidence reposed in Gatama’s leadership capacity and focus on grassroots mobilisation and youth participation in governance.

“Your appointment reflects the confidence reposed in your leadership capacity and focus on grassroots mobilization and youth participation in governance,” the statement said.


The movement also highlighted Gatama’s role as a distinguished member of its Advisory Council, noting that it takes pride in his continued service and leadership.
“We are confident that, under your coordination and in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders, the objectives of the City Boys Movement and the effective promotion of the Renewed Hope Agenda will be successfully advanced across Gombe State,” the statement added.


The Gombe South Youths Movement assured Gatama of its full support and cooperation as he undertakes the responsibility, reaffirming its commitment to unity and progress in the state.

Both groups wished the new coordinator a successful and impactful tenure, expressing optimism that his leadership will inspire youths and students across Gombe State.
