Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has commiserated with the family of Mrs Pauline Doka, Provost of the College of Nursing Sciences, as well as the Gelengu community, over the death of late Mama Jummai Salatu, who passed away recently at the age of 85.

Conveying the governor’s condolences to the family at their Gelengu family compound, the Secretary to the Gombe Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, said the late Mama lived a fulfilled life of service to God and humanity, describing her death as a great loss.
He urged the family to take solace in the belief that “unto God we came and unto Him we shall all return”, encouraging them to accept the will of God with gratitude. He also prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and to console them in their moment of bereavement.
Responding on behalf of the family, Mr. Ibrahim Salatu expressed appreciation to the Governor for the show of love and concern through the delegation, praying God to bless and reward him and his administration.
