The Base Manager of the Kolmani Oil Field, Mr. Unnikrishnan Ordinat, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration on security matters.

Mr. Ordinat was accompanied by a former Base Manager, Mr. Kaldip Singh, and the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the oil field, Mr. Kefas Iliya.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Ordinat said the engagement was aimed at familiarising himself with the NSCDC Gombe State Command and deepening cooperation to ensure a safe and secure operational environment at the Kolmani Oil Field.
“This visit is to formally introduce myself to the State Command of the NSCDC and to reaffirm our commitment to working closely with the Corps in safeguarding the Kolmani Oil Field,” he said. “Security is critical to our operations, and we believe that strong synergy with security agencies like the NSCDC is key to sustaining peace and stability in the area.”
He stressed that effective collaboration between oil field management and security agencies would enhance safety and contribute to the socio-economic development of the host communities and the state at large.
Also speaking, the Chief Security Officer, Mr. Kefas Iliya, commended the NSCDC for its professionalism, gallantry, and sustained efforts in securing the Kolmani Oil Field in collaboration with other sister security agencies.
