Obi Cubana is one of the smallest names in the movement. Yes, say that I said it.

Young Fintech CEOs are members of the movement.

These are Nigeria’s tech billionaires – they don’t show off and you probably don’t even know much about their personal life. I tackled one of them during the elections – those of you who have been here for a while may remember.

I am NOT a member of any political party and will never be one. No party will buy my voice. But let me tell you the truth: WAILING AND SENTIMENTS DO NOT WIN ELECTIONS, STRATEGY DOES.

Hating Obi Cubana will only drive him further away from you. If any other political movement saw the value of Obi Cubana, why didn’t they approach him first? Why didn’t the Obidient movement make an offer to him? How many influencers and influential entrepreneurs are other political movements making DEALS with? Or you think that things work by EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL? lol.

Politics is by Negotiation – not threat. We can make all the threats in the world but without a leader who makes DEALS, nothing will work.

The City Boy Movement was crafted to technically bury the Obidient movement. They intelligently studied the Obidient’s Emotionalism. They strategically positioned Obi Cubana’s face to arouse emotions. It worked – the Obidients are swimming in strong emotions. X, Meta etc are filled with videos calling out Obi Cubana. Only VDM made sense – only him. VDM didn’t drag Obi Cubana. He only wished Obi Cubana was given a bigger position. VDM also mentioned that he himself will consider active but INDIRECT POLITICAL PARTICIPATION as a vehicle for change. Now that’s intelligent. Obi Cubana will feel comfortable with VDM since VDM didn’t condemn him. Only VDM can make a deal with Obi Cubana for either PDP, ADC, LP or any other party or political movement who may want to win him over.

Your goal should be to WIN PEOPLE OVER – not to Scare people away with toxicity. While you are scaring people away, those with SERPENTINE WISDOM are winning them over.

You can’t depend on “Obi is the best candidate with the best character” to win an election. No. You must BUILD AND MEND BRIDGES.

You must WIN PEOPLE OVER. Do not make toxic comments. Just find the key people you think can add value to your movement and GIVE THEM A POSITION. Make A Deal.

I even saw a girl who claimed that Obi Cubana was hired to HELP SNATCH BALLOT BOXES. Gosh. How do you think Obi Cubana will feel when he reads this? He would rather sell his soul to the devil than to support whoever such a girl is supporting.

Emotional Outburts DO NOT WIN ELECTIONS – strategy does.

If you want to win elections, BUILD BRIDGES.

Respect people who have platforms, influence and intelligence. Do not push them into disliking your movement. That was HOW NNAMDI KANU LOST THE SUPPORT OF THE INTELLECTUAL CLASS. Despite how noble his cause was, he lost the narrative. He now depends on Political Solution for his freedom. You must learn how to build bridges.

And if you are angry that Obi Cubana is bigger than what City Boy Movement gave him, simply offer him the National CORDINATOR of your own movement. If you know who and who is involved in the CBM, you will find a very strategic way to win influential leaders to your movement without disrespecting them.

This is a heartfelt strategic message but guess what? Emotions will make some of you to miss the message.

My name is Charles Awuzie and I’m a neutral voice of reason this season.
