Nigeria’s Super Eagles secured a comfortable 4-0 win over Mozambique in the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 match at the Fez Stadium in Morocco, booking their spot in the quarter-finals.

Victor Osimhen scored twice, while Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams contributed one goal each to the victory.
Lookman, who opened the scoring in the 20th minute, was instrumental in Nigeria’s attack, providing three assists, including the ones that led to Osimhen’s goals.
The Nigerian team dominated the match, with Mozambique struggling to create clear-cut chances.
Nigeria’s strong performance was expected, given their impressive group stage record, where they scored eight goals and won all their games.
The Super Eagles will next face either Algeria or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the quarter-finals, a match that promises to be a tough test for Nigeria’s title aspirations.
