A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Alfred John-Attajiri, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on her conferment with the prestigious traditional title of Thukpa-Oritse of the Warri Kingdom.
Attajiri, who holds the traditional titles of Wakilin Waje Babba na Waja and Jagaban Kalmai, described the honour bestowed by the Warri Kingdom as well-deserved and a recognition of the First Lady’s outstanding service to humanity and commitment to national development.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Saturday, Attajiri said the title reflects the admiration and respect Mrs. Tinubu has earned across cultural and regional divides.
“I heartily congratulate Your Excellency on the conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy title Thukpa-Oritse of the Warri Kingdom. This well-deserved honour is a recognition of your outstanding service to humanity and your unwavering commitment to national development,” he stated.
He commended the First Lady’s leadership of the Renewed Hope Initiative, noting that the programme has continued to champion impactful interventions that uplift lives across the country.
“Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, you have continued to champion impactful interventions that uplift lives across the country. The Initiative has provided economic empowerment support to women and vulnerable groups, educational assistance and scholarships to students, healthcare interventions for mothers and children, and relief materials to communities facing hardship,” Attajiri said.
He further lauded her advocacy for social welfare, youth development and inclusive growth, stressing that her efforts have strengthened families and restored hope to many Nigerians.
“Your leadership, compassion and dedication to the wellbeing of women, children and the less privileged embody the true essence of service,” he added.
Attajiri prayed for continued wisdom, strength and grace for the First Lady as she adds the revered traditional title to her profile.
“As you add this revered traditional title to your distinguished profile, I pray that God grants you continued wisdom, strength and grace to expand your humanitarian impact and advance the Renewed Hope vision for our great nation,” he said.
