Invictus Africa says it received 39,104 applications from across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for 111 data enumerator positions recently advertised by the organisation.
The group described the response as overwhelming and a reflection of Nigerians’ growing interest in data-driven development, accountability, and gender justice initiatives.
In a statement issued on its website, www.invictusafrica.org, the organisation said, “We received 39,104 applications from across the 36 states and the FCT for 111 data enumerator positions.”
It added that the volume of applications demonstrates the enthusiasm of Nigerians to contribute meaningfully to social impact work.
“This number is clear evidence that many Nigerians want to contribute to data, accountability, and gender justice work,” the organisation stated.
While noting that it would not be possible to engage all applicants, Invictus Africa expressed appreciation to those who showed interest in the opportunity.
“While we are unable to engage everyone who applied, we are grateful for the interest, trust, and commitment shown. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted soon,” the statement added.
The organisation also disclosed that additional data-related opportunities would be announced later in the year.
“More data opportunities will open up this year. Please keep an eye on our social media pages,” it stated.
