The management, staff and entire university community of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, on Wednesday congratulated two of its scholars, Professor Mohammed Inuwa Ja’afaru and Dr Tukur Abba, on their recent appointments at the Federal University, Kashere (FUK), Gombe State.

Professor Ja’afaru, a former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of Modibbo Adama University, was appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University, Kashere, while Dr. Tukur Abba, former University Librarian of MAU, Yola, was named University Librarian of the institution.
In a statement issued by the Information and Publicity Officer of Modibbo Adama University, the university described the appointments as well-deserved and a testament to the appointees’ exceptional leadership qualities, professional competence, academic excellence and years of dedicated service to the Nigerian university system.
The statement noted that the achievements of Professor Ja’afaru and Dr. Abba have brought immense pride and honour to Modibbo Adama University, Yola, and serve as a source of inspiration to staff and the wider academic community.
The university expressed confidence that the wealth of experience, integrity and vision of the two scholars would contribute significantly to the growth, stability and advancement of the Federal University, Kashere.
Modibbo Adama University, Yola, once again congratulated the duo and wished them outstanding success in their new responsibilities.
