Prophet Joshua Iginla has issued a strong warning to Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, urging him to be vigilant against betrayal from within his political circle.
Speaking during a recent address, the cleric cautioned the governor to be mindful of those around him as he navigates his administration and prepares for future political contests.
“Watch your back and watch your team so that you won’t be betrayed in the next political dispensation,” Iginla warned.
He further expressed concern over what he described as troubling revelations, saying, “As a prophet, I have been troubled with the revelation I am seeing. Please watch your back; there are so many Judases around you.”
Drawing biblical parallels, the prophet advised Governor Otti to be wary of deceptive counsel from individuals who may appear wise but do not have his best interests at heart.
“Please be careful of the counsel of Ahithophel. There are many Ahithophels around you. They look like wise men, but they are not wise men,” he said.
Iginla also appeared to encourage the governor to remain focused on his mandate, emphasizing divine purpose in his leadership.
“What you have upstairs is what God has sent you to do, but here we don’t appreciate good people,” he stated.
Highlighting the importance of political strategy ahead of the next election cycle, the cleric added, “The most important thing is your re-election in four years more. Appear powerless and win your second term.”
The remarks have sparked discussions among political observers and supporters, though Governor Otti has yet to publicly respond to the prophecy and accompanying advice.
