Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State have paid a congratulatory and solidarity visit to the newly elected state chairman of the party, Mohammed Dantata Ndus, at his residence in Kale-Aya.
The delegation, led by the Secretary Government of the State, Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, and former senator representing Gombe South Senatorial District, Joshua Lidani, pledged their loyalty to the party leadership and expressed confidence in the APC’s victory in future elections.

This was contained in a press statement signed by Joshua Danmalam, Information Officer to SGS’ office made available to PERISCOPE NIGERIA, on Friday.

Other members of the delegation included the Majority Leader of the Gombe State House of Assembly, Yerima Ladan Gaule; the Commissioner for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Barnabas Malle; the Chairman of Kaltungo Local Government Area, Iliya Suleiman; the APC Local Government Chairman, Buba Galadima; and other party stakeholders.
Addressing the gathering, Professor Njodi appreciated Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for what he described as the honour bestowed on Kaltungo with the emergence of Ndus as the state chairman of the party.
“We are grateful to Governor Inuwa Yahaya for honouring Kaltungo Local Government with the choice of Hon. Mohammed Dantata Ndus as chairman of the progressive party in the state,” he said.
The SSG also called on party members and residents of the area to remain united in order to strengthen the party and sustain its electoral successes.
In his remarks, Senator Lidani highlighted his longstanding relationship with Professor Njodi and urged party supporters to avoid divisive comments that could undermine unity in the area.
“We must guard against divisive comments and actions that can weaken the unity of our party. Unity is critical to the progress of Kaltungo and Gombe State as a whole,” he said.
Lidani also advised the new state chairman to remain humble, noting that humility had been one of the qualities he had known him for since their days working together at the local government level.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Kaltungo Local Government Council, Dr. Iliya Suleiman, and the APC chairman in the area, Buba Galadima, commended Governor Inuwa Yahaya and the APC leadership in the state for recognising the contributions of the people of Kaltungo to the development of the party.
They assured the party leadership of the unwavering loyalty of APC members in the area and their commitment to ensuring the party’s victory in future elections.
Responding, the APC State Chairman, Mohammed Dantata Ndus, thanked the delegation for the solidarity visit and urged members of the party across Gombe State to support his leadership with prayers and cooperation.
“I sincerely appreciate this visit and the show of solidarity by stakeholders from Kaltungo. I call on all APC members in Gombe State to continue to support and pray for us so that we can deliver the party in all elections,” he said.
Ndus assured party members of his commitment to providing inclusive leadership that would give all members a sense of belonging.
“I will remain loyal to the party and ensure an inclusive administration that allows every member to feel the benefits and opportunities that come with belonging to the APC,” he added.
