In a bold move to promote economic empowerment and inclusive development, the Attajiri Development Foundation has disbursed ₦500,000 each to 60 beneficiaries, comprising youth and women, to support and expand their businesses.

The foundation is founded by Hon. Alfred John Attajiri, aspirant for the Billiri/Balanga Federal Constituency seat in Gombe State.

Speaking on the initiative, a representative of the foundation said, “This intervention reflects our continued commitment to promoting self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth within our communities.”

The foundation emphasized that investing in people remains central to its mission. “By supporting the capacity of our youth and women, we are not only enhancing individual livelihoods but also contributing to the overall development of society,” the representative added.
According to the foundation, the beneficiaries were carefully selected based on their dedication, enterprise, and readiness to grow their various trades and ventures. “We firmly believe that when youth and women are empowered, communities thrive,” the statement noted.
Reaffirming its long-term vision, the foundation stated, “We remain committed to initiatives that bring real change to the grassroots, foster growth, uphold dignity, and promote shared prosperity.”
It added that the programme is one of several efforts aimed at uplifting lives and creating opportunities. “This is just one of many interventions we will continue to undertake to build a future driven by productivity and resilience,” the foundation concluded.
