The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Taraba State chapter, has affirmed former House of Representatives member for the Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency, Hon. Danjuma Shiddi (Danji SS), as its governorship candidate for the 2027 election in the state.
Hon. Tanko Ibrahim Boka, the returning officer who announced the affirmation in Jalingo, said the process followed due procedure and was conducted in line with the party’s constitution and guidelines.
Meanwhile, Hon. Shiddi, while responding, said he would restore hope and build a future that would favour all citizens of the state if elected.
The governorship candidate assured that he would ensure the security of all communities to boost food production and prioritise productive innovation through entrepreneurship for youth and women development.
The former National Assembly member said his ambition is aimed at securing communities, reviving decaying infrastructure and improving the wellbeing of farmers.
“My desire is to create an environment where all citizens can afford the basic necessities of life. My record is clear, and I believe Tarabans will vote for me based on my past achievements,” Danji said.
